A serial entrepreneur, Eric has founded several businesses, including founder and CEO of Acumen Sciences; founder and Chairman of Scient (NASDAQ:SCNT), a systems integrator focused on e-business; and founder and Chairman of Viant (NASDAQ:VIAN), an Internet systems integrator. Eric was a pioneer in establishing the commercial Internet, where his companies built over 250 electronic businesses.
For more than two decades, John has managed products, technical architecture and strategy for market-defining companies. At Oracle, he launched one of the first commercial web browser and authoring tools ever created. With Scient’s founding team, he ran large business engagements and launched the firm in Europe. He’s led analyst relations and competitive strategy at Salesforce, the SF technology team at frogdesign, and product development at Open Media Network.
James joins Wrap as SVP of Engineering, where he’ll be responsible for building and scaling the engineering teams to carry out Wrap’s product vision. He has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience with SaaS, enterprise software consumer web and social software. Most recently, James was VP of Engineering at software company, Mulesoft, where he led engineering and cloud operations teams. Prior to that role, John was VP of Engineering and CTO at Sociable Labs and VP of Engineering at Lithium Technologies. Earlier in his career James worked at Switchfly, Charles Schwab and Compaq.
Pete has been focusing on innovation, strategy and design while holding senior leadership positions at Frog Design, Slacker and Scribd. With over 20 years experience designing award-winning solutions for Fortune 1000 clients Pete has taking a user centric approach to solving business and experience challenges. His experience has ranged from branding and identity to in-car navigation systems with companies like Nissan and Tesla. His award winning talent has allowed him to define user experience systems for Apple, Ferrari and many other globally renowned brands.
Francis is a software engineer and interaction designer that has been building and launching startup companies and products in Silicon Valley over the past decade. Prior to joining Wrap, he was CTO and Co-founder at Bitlogica, Qwip, and AudioPress, and VP Product at Tiny Pictures. He holds MS and BA degrees in computer science from UC Berkeley and a Masters degree from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.
Passionate about the intersection of technology and business to drive profound, often disruptive improvements to the way we live and work. Responsible for managing a global P/L and organization chartered with driving and accelerating revenue growth in various IoT segments at Intel. Also lead IoT channel ecosystem including ODMs, VARs, distribution, ISVs and System Integration partners across all sectors.
John thinks by writing, which often leads to new projects and new companies. Investor, mostly in seed or Series A companies in media, technology, and consumer mobile.
Sylvio's focus is on growth, assembling and driving stellar teams, scalability, mobile, core technologies, innovation and inventions. He is currently at Unity Labs, where he is creating and influencing the future of game authoring, rendering, VR, AR and storytelling.
Dave is an entrepreneur, investor and advisor. He recently founded his second company (still under the radar) after working as a Board Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. Dave was the Founding CEO and then Chairman of Jive, where he grew the company from its inception as a small open source project with no revenue to a $55M, pre-IPO company.
Rich LeFurgy has been a board member, advisor or investor in over 55 online advertising companies. Drawing from a 17 year ad agency career in New York he was head of sales at Starwave and the Walt Disney Internet Group, founding Chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau and a venture capitalist in San Francisco (prior to starting advisory firm Archer in 2004. Archer is a multifaceted advisory services company, assisting early stage online media companies by serving on their board of directors, completing advisory projects and proving early stage investments.
Eva has been the spokesperson for many iconic companies, including Blackberry, and has been hailed as one of Crain’s “40 Under 40.” She is currently the host of Luxury Explorer TV, a travel and lifestyle channel available exclusively to the top 250 hotels in the United States, and is the mentor on Lifetime’s prime-time hit, Project Accessory. Meanwhile, Eva continues to search the world to discover unique objects for Vivre.com, her retail site that outperforms industry benchmarks by 300% in annual sales.
Ammet is a seasoned Advisor, CTO, Investor and Mentor. He is a senior leader and executive with a diverse range of skills from innovation, venture creation, revenue growth, business transformation and cost optimization. Excellent communicator and influencer with a broad relationship network to help drive impact and results for leading organizations.
Gordon Rubenstein is the Managing Partner of Raine Ventures where he leads Raine's venture capital group. Prior to joining Raine in 2013, Gordon founded and managed Pacific Partners, an operationally‐focused venture capital partnership with backing from George Soros, Sam Zell, leading technology executives and entrepreneurs as well as partners from KKR, Silver Lake and Freeman Spogli.
Tina has created and scaled multiple consumer and media businesses to profitability worldwide. Currently, Tina is the CEO of SherpaFoundry, and before that served as the CEO of BabyCenter, LLC a wholly owned division of Johnson and Johnson. With more than 20 years of experience, she co-founded iVillage, led multiple businesses at AOL and started the digital internet division at Sesame Street. Tina is considered one of the pioneers in the evolution of new media, from the introduction of HDTV to the mass-market adoption of the web, social and mobile platforms.
Marcy Simon has more than 20 years of experience driving the growth and reputation of companies from startups to multi-billion dollar organizations. Marcy is currently advising companies directly and serving as a Managing Director and Strategic Advisor at Burson-Marsteller. She is an angel investor through her fund, Maple Beach Ventures, and is the founder of Agent of Change, which provides strategic communications and public relations services to the world's most innovative tech companies.
Melissa joined NEA as a partner in 2015. She focuses on talent acquistion at the executive level across the NEA portfolio. Melissa brings broad operating experience from the tchnology and healthcare sectors, along with a passion for cultivating relationships, to seek out best in class people who will build life-changing companies that have global reach.
Zem became Huffington Post’s Editor at Large of Home and Lifestyle after the company she founded became part of The Huffington Post in 2014. She startedEcofabulous.com to share her deep passion for the intersection of style and sustainability. Zem is a strategy & design advisor for Obvious Ventures, eBay, NRGenergy, Barnraiser and numerous other conscious companies. Mentored by William McDonough, Zem is a founding board member of The Cradle to Cradle Product Innovation Institute and longtime board member of Global Green USA where she founded their annual San Francisco Gorgeous & Green event.
